Quantum Roll Sheeters, formerly known as Grafech Engineering, was founded in 2002 as an Engineering Design and Manufacturing Company. Grafech developed the FIRST modern wide format roll sheeter for a 56" KBA Rapida 142 Press. A few years later Grafech followed up with the FIRST wide format sheeter for the 51" Rapida 130a and the FIRST sheeter for a 64" Rapida 162a press
in 2005.
In August 2016, Quantum Design Inc. of Loves Park, IL purchased the Grafech Engineering product line and renamed it Quantum Roll Sheeters. The product line now resides at their corporate headquarters in Machesney Park, IL.
